I've been exploring a number of performance increase ideas and wondered if anyone has thought of placing the Logos application in a RAM disk while accessing the data via a regular hard drive or SSD. Honestly, I have no idea if this would work or what application settings may be lost when the RAM disk is shut down. I'm assuming any permanent settings are stored in the Library folder (I'm on a Mac). In "theory," couldn't you copy the Logos App (approx. 300 MB) to a RAM Disk for temporary usage? I wonder if It would increase some of the non-file access functions. Before I try it, I was wondering if anyone had played around with the idea.

I don't recommend it unless you really know what you are doing (even if you have 12-16 GB RAM), and don't bother if you have an SSD.
