Sync Errors on 2/22-2/23
We are currently experiencing issues with sync for History items, which was added in 4.6b and 5.0b last week. If you are running one of these versions, you may see a yellow triangle on your sync icon.
We hope to have a fix for this issue out late this morning. In the meantime, all other documents should continue syncing normally.

I see it too. What are the "History" items? It looks to me like highlights aren't syncing either.

History items, can be viewed from the History Tool, in the tools menu. If you open the Highlighting tool for example, it will remember that you opened it, and have a link to click on to reopen it. I'm back home, and the highlights I did while at Church have synced to my home PC, even though the sync triangle shows...so things are "OK"

Thanks for all your hard work. Maybe they are trying to figure out to synch up my free copy of the ABRAHAM church curriculum and an evil gremlin interrupted them too

I just put in an order for a new product and just noticed the triangle....of course, I can't get my new order until sync is fixed....

I believe that everything is syncing, except the history items now, so you should be able to get your new product. Try restarting Logos, or typing update now in the command bar.

The yellow triangle may remain for a while… but that shouldn't have a bearing on downloading your resource. What did you purchase? When did you purchase it?

- Did you receive the email confirmation from Logos yet? If so, then the transaction has gone through (a good sign).
- If you haven't received an email, please check the website and see if the purchase went through. Does the website show that you own the resource?
- If the purchase has gone through, did you try both update commands? (update now and update resources)
- If you have tried all of these things, enable logging and post logs in a new thread.

Chuck - One more question: Your signature shows that you currently own Logos 5 Bronze. Didn't you previously own a KJV with strongs? Did you own an L4 base package? Which one?
Is THIS the bible you just purchased?

I sure do...wonder why the system allow me to purchase it again? Usally shows a faded link if I already have it....Has a different title, so that may be the problem.

I am not positive that it is the same resource… but I have a strong suspicion that it is. Perhaps they just changed the name from "Authorized Version" to "King James Version." I think there may be a problem here that only Logos can fix. I hid then unhid this resource, and it didn't download for me (Logos says there are no updates).
This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!

Just today, or has this been ongoing for a long time? How long? Often the warning is generally meaningless for most users… do you know that data isn't syncing, or are you just worried because of the warning?

its been going on for a while. i have read these posts and it seems to fix itself.. but mine hasnt. Part of me thought.. well maybe its just taking longer for the fix to download to me? I dont have any issues with the PC. and the only thing i have noticed is when i close logos5 on my mac and try to reopen the last closed layout it doesn't seem to be there. but notes and other things seem to sync. Other than that.. it is a little worrisome that the warning is showing. probably does spook me.
