Bible study worksheets integrated into Logos
I just posted an example in the general discussion forum of a chart that I would like to be able to reuse as a format for Notes. This is a similar example but it makes the case more clearly. As one who develops Bible studies, I like to be able to create sample answers for particular instances. This is a sample that I'd posted as part of a PBB - this simply shows it copied into a Note. Graphic organizers and rhetorical diagrams (chiasm, inclusio, parallels) represent a significant portion of my notes - and would be even more heavily used if I could attach a note to multiple passages.

I have recommended being able to attach a note to several selections myself. As regards reusing a form as a template for subsequent modification, this might be able to be accomplished if it were possible to rename a note file while it is open. At the moment it seems only possible to rename the file in the open note dialogue. A "save as" function would solve the problem (perhaps with the ability to be able to write protect the template to avoid accidental overwriting it). Or, an entirely new type of note could be instituted (Let's say it might be called "*.lbxtmpl"), but I think the other option would easier and involve less work on Logos' part.

I just thought of a little kludge that might solve your problem of using templates. You might create a folder which is invisible to Libronix somewhere on your HD where you put your templates. When you wish to use one, copy it into the folder with your other annotations and rename it with the open notes dialogue, open it and make your entries, then save it under your new name. I would suggest a name something like XXX_TEMPL.lbxnot to make it clear that it is a template.
