Layouts

I have Logos 4 and windows 8. 

When I try to open "layouts" by clicking the appropriate button either the menus do not open or do so for an instant.  Eventually I can get the menus open.  It is very frustrating, please help.

    Are you single-clicking or double-clicking the "Layouts" menu? If you click twice, the first click will open the menu, and the second click will immediately dismiss it. Please make sure you are only clicking it once.

    BTW, if you're running Windows 8, you can install the Logos 5 software for free (even if you haven't purchased a Logos 5 upgrade). You won't get access to all the new Logos 5 features, but you will get the latest bug fixes and improvements. In the upcoming version of Logos 5 (5.1, which is still in beta), the performance of the Layouts menu has been greatly improved.

    Hi Bradley,

    I really am most grateful to you for your very helpful reply.

    Due to habit I am inclined to double click, and his is part of my problem. I will avoid this in future.

    I have also downloaded Version 5, as you suggest, and am very pleased with it.
