Mac OS X Services Still Point to Logos 4 - How do I get it to point to Logos 5?

I am running Logos 5, but I still have my Logos 4 installation on my Mac (Lion on early MBP). When I go to "Pages > Services" in  the Pages application (or the Services option in any other application), the "Replace with Passage" menu item still seems to be pointing to Logos 4 (since I then receive an error message that tells me to upgrade!). How do I get it to use Logos 5 instead of Logos 4?

If I want to get rid of Logos 4, do I simply delete it in the Applications folder? Any possible problems with that?

Welcome to the Forums Andrew. I do not have a Mac, so I may not be of much help, but have you checked the wiki? wiki.logos.com

    Welcome [:D]

The Logos Bible Software 4 application can be deleted.  For one user, Logos 4 effectively becomes unusable after launching Logos 5 due to database changes.

On OS X 10.8.3, personally have two user accounts so can have Logos 5.1 Beta 8 and Logos 4.6c Beta 8 running at the same time (albeit Logos 4.6c Beta 8 needs manual application updating since Logos 5 is automatically downloaded).  System Preferences has Text Service check boxes for both versions with Logos 4 having two services before Logos 5:

In Pages '09, the text php4.4-8 is highlighted so services has Text options.  Noticed Logos 4 and 5 icons are a bit different in color.

Logos 5.1 Beta 8 on OS X 10.8.3 for one user has Verbum set to Yes:

Logos 4.6c Beta 8 on OS X 10.8.3 in a different account, which has checked the first two Services in System Preferences:

Top preferred bible in Logos 5.1 Beta 8 and Logos 4.6c Beta 8 are different so verified Replace with Passage works with Pages '09.

    Keep Smiling [:)]
