French Study Bibles?

I've been googling about, and cannot find anything like a Study Bible in French. I've been asked for some recommendations for beginning to grasp the ancient Near Eastern background of the Bible, and something like the Jewish Study Bible would be perfect... but in conversation, this group of 30+ French Christians had not encountered anything like a Bible with extensive notes.
Any suggestions?

I have the study edition of the Nouvelle Bible Segond but unfortunately Logos doesn't sell it anymore.

Have you checked out the "ZeBible"? It is geared towards young people.
Check out this website for introduction: http://www.unitedbiblesocieties.org/uncategorized/1889-zebible-a-partnership-and-an-experience-in-itself/
They have some very cool promotion videos: http://lautreexperience.com

This search includes a lot of false hits, which my French isn't good enough to figure out how to filter out, but it also seems to include at least one more study Bible than the link above, viz a TOB one. That's probably the one I would check out first, precisely because it's both ecumenical and more recent. Plus it seems to include the full Orthodox canon, which should help with Jewish and ANE background.

I can't believe I forgot to mention the Bible de Jerusalem...

You're right, the 2010 edition of the TOB also contains 3 and 4 Esdras, 3 and 4 Maccabees, the Prayer of Manasseh, and Psalm 151.

The NBS doens't include the apocrypha/deuterocanonical books, but the notes are useful. I only wish that Logos could make the links to the apocrypha work:

The following three French Bibles were included in the SESB-package which was produced by the German and Dutch Bible Societies:
- La Nouvelle Bible Segond
- Traduction Oecumenique de la Bible
- La Bible en français courant. Edition révisée
