Temporarily highlighting a list of passages

I am trying to figure out how to highlight, or otherwise mark, a series of Bible passages from a list. Specifically, I want to temporarily show the readings from a lectionary as a part of the Bible’s text.

Searching the forums has yielded no solutions, probably because I am not using the correct search terms.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

There is a suggestion on the Logos UserVoice forum for "Make visual filter from passage list" -- I suggest you add as many of your votes to that as you can spare. Looks like it hasn't got much attention yet, so others reading this thread who are interested might want to chip in.
