Just 3 days to go before the release of the REB and NEB.

The NEB (1961-70) when released was a  pioneering dynamic equivalent translation, a bold translation that broke with tradition.  Important historical translation of 20th Century. Sometimes controversial.

The REB is a more conservative revision of the NEB done in 1980's. More traditional, moderate inclusive language and easy to read.

All the best bible commentaries make reference to these bibles.Your Logos library will not be complete without them.

Both are 100% British. The bible in my own language Wow!Cool

I will now have to revise my top 5 bibles

1 ESV

2 NIV (2011)

3 NRSV

4 NEB

5 REB

PA, I've been looking forward to these too but your excitement tops us all! [:)]

    Bruce

These are the only resources I want.

To find REB in bible software is rare (accordance)

To find NEB in bible software is unheard of. I know of one website where you can read the new testament only.

No other bible software or website has both REB and the NEB. That is why this is so important!!!

This is a Logos exclusive, so spread the word

PA, I actually own paper copies of them but I have not read them that often. After your enthusiastic recommendation in other threads I put my orders in. Looking forward to it. Are there particular sections you really like?
