I want to create a reading plan where I read 2 chapters of the OT each day and 3 chapters of the NT. Is this possible. I have Logos 5.

Thanks

Bruce

You would need to create two reading plans to accomplish this currently. Since Logos doesn't give you fine controls, you will have to figure out how many days of reading it will require to generate 2 chapters a day for OT in one plan, and 3 chapters a day in NT.

OSX & iOS | Logs |  Install

Yes. it is. But you have to spell it out in order to keep strict chapter boundaries

Plan for 4 days/sessions:-

Ge 1-2, Ex 1-2, Ge 3-4, Ex 3-4 |  Mt 1-3, Mk 1-3, Mt 4-6, Mk 4-6

Expand to 5 sessions:-

Ge 1-2, Ex 1-2, Ge 3-4, Ex 3-4, Ge 5-6 | Mt 1-3, Mk 1-3, Mt 4-6, Mk 4-6, Mt 7-9

Expand to 6 sessions:-

Ge 1-2, Ex 1-2, Ge 3-4, Ex 3-4, Ge 5-6, Ex 5-6 | Mt 1-3, Mk 1-3, Mt 4-6, Mk 4-6, Mt 7-9, Mk 7-9

etc.

But it will require approx. 465 sessions to get through the OT and you will read the NT about 5 times in the process**!

If you try to be generic e.g.

Ge–Mal | Mt–Re over 465 days

the readings will be calculated across chapter boundaries, in proportion to the relative lengths of each testament, approx. 3ch for OT + 1 ch for NT.

For an understanding of tailored plans see http://wiki.logos.com/Reading_Plans#Custom_reading_plans.

** KJV OT has 929 chapters, and NT has 260 chapters
