Should I manually re-index? New resources did not index.

My laptop just finished downloading 1.08GB of new resources. I restarted Logos but it did not commence indexing. I do not want to download another GB of the same resources. If I re-index by the command box will it include the new download or just re-index my library sans download? I'd hate to waste hours on nothing.

(Yes, this is the Complete Classical Commentary Bundle that has been backlogged since yesterday. I finally got it but it won't index.)

My experience is that once you restart after downloading, new resources will show in the Library before indexing is finished. So you can check there, to see if they are in your library; if so, they will index when it works.

Are on Windows? If so what I would try first is exit Logos, do a Ctrl-Shift-Esc to see the Task Manager, click the Processes tab, and right click/End process of Logos.exe and/or LogosIndexer.exe (this may not be the exact name, but you will see it next to Logos.exe). Close that pane out, then restart Logos. I bet it will index ok (just a hunch from my experiences).

Thanks. Yeah, I'm familiar with that but there are no Logos items running.

It's working now! [:D]

It has already downloaded Cambridge Bible & a host of little volumes. Still downloading more. It seems as if Logos has broken the downloads into smaller blocks.
