I received this free book offer by email about an hour ago. http://www.logos.com/product/30664/administracion-principios-gerenciales-para-lideres-cristianos.

I received 20 other related emails. Has anyone else received this?

They are all non-english (not sure of the language).

Not sure if I should just ignore, or report it.

Thanks

It seems there is problem now in Logos system. The base packages and some commentaries are free. :)

The problem appears to be corrected now. The website no longer list those resources as $0.00.

Error or not on some I finally got to buy Robinson's Biblical Preaching in Spanish for $13.95! Now I only need to call sales to get a better price on the English version of it.  Great classic stuff!

DAL

Ps. Thank you Logos!

The emails that I received were all Spanish resources. And the cost was $0.00. Since I can't read Spanish, I didn't get them. Now, they appear to be back to normal. :-)

Well the book I just bought by Robinson in Spanish was made available a while ago for immediate purchase as an individual title by mistake when it was on pre-pub as part of a collection only thing...which makes me wonder if books are ready to be released and the whole pre-pub thing is just to gather interest to collect the money it took to make that book and not the other way around (i.e. collect money to make the book in the future).  I know it's been the case in the past where Logos already has the books or collections ready to be released, but they still put it on pre-pub just to give a sort of "special introductory price."

Anyway, if my book had been made available for free $0.00 and then it turned out it was a mistake, I would've been a little upset.  I mean, I can understand that it would raise up a red flag if a base package was made available for free, but one book it's usually normal to go for free.  Well I'm glad the problem got solved...I just wonder how many people got a free copy and if they will be asked to return it or purchase it at the regular price Confused Hmm

Most of the books that I received the "Free" email about had a very low regular cost of $4 to $5. My thought is that Logos probably would just let that one go. Wouldn't be worth the trouble or possible backlash from customers that would complain. On the other hand, a base package worth several thousand dollars would probably be worth composing a statement to customers and putting in the time and effort explaining it was a mistake and you can't have it for free. Speculation of course. Smile
