Power Lookup -- What am I doing wrong?

Logos 5, Windows 8.

Have one window pane open with ESV. Another one with Sermon Starter Guide for "Sanctity of Life." Opened Power Lookup. No matter what I do, I couldn't get it to "lookup" the Bible references on teh Sermon Starter Guide. It will only lookup the ESV cross-references.

I tried having the Power Lookup "follow" while the SSG has focus. I tried setting both of them to linkset B.

What am I missing here? Is the Power Lookup not desined to work with the Guides?

That's interesting. I tried directly linking a Passage Analysis to a Sermon Guide (which I'd think would be good). The Passage Analysis can drive the Sermon Guide but not the reverse.

But when I added a Passage Guide to the links, the Passage Analysis kind of refused to be leader anymore. Picky picky.

I didn't think the Power Lookup followed the guides, just resources. I could be wrong.

Unfortunately not. The Guides do not function like resources do and allow the Lookup feature to be used with them. The Topic Guide will not allow a Passage List to be generated from its sometimes extensive listing of references. It is a serious shortcoming. I don't recall whether Logos has commented on this and is planning to allow some interaction with its other tools and documents. This is needed.

We plan on adding "Save as Passage List" to many guide sections in a future release.

The original poster was wondering about integrating Power Lookup with the Guide. Is that on the radar or can't it be done?
