This could be that Logos5 is being blocked by a firewall. Check your firewall settings and make sure that Logos has permission to use the internet.

See also http://community.logos.com/forums/t/76060.aspx Kind of odd both are having trouble with L3 and internet recognition. I tried synch'ing L3 and forcing new files from Logos; worked fine. I haven't updated W7 so maybe a Windows update?

Good thought but checked it out - couldn't see anything relating to DLS or Logo

You may need to add Logos to a 'white list' (AKA 'approved list'). For a typical installation, the logos program is found here: C:\Users\[your Windows user name]\AppData\Local\Logos\ (NOTE: if you upgraded to Logos5 from Logos4, it's found here: C:\Users\[your Windows user name]\AppData\Local\Logos4).
I was just reminded that some routers have built-in firewalls, you may need to add Logos.exe to the 'white list' there too, if your router has that capability and it is functioning.
It's also possible that something else is blocking the internet connection. If you're not connecting from home, it could be a firewall on the router you're connecting to. Some public wifi sites block 'religious' sites, including Logos.com (this has been noted in some Best Buy stores, e.g.).
If none of the above helps, we'll need more info to help you. Please provide your machine specs, how you connect to the internet, whatever anti-virus and firewall protections you have in place, and whatever else you think might be causing this.
I'm not sure but logs may help us figure this out further (no guarantees). Please enable logging by carefully following all the instructions in the following link: http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging Then run Logos, let it try to connect (and fail), and post the logs back here. Here are the instructions for how to post logs to this forum: http://wiki.logos.com/Uploading_Logs

maybe you can check your host file, don't block any logos and libronix web.

hi, sorry to be so long in getting back - I have been struggling with this for what seems like days! I have not been able to produce the logs despite following your instructions carefully. I have checked out the firewall settings and can find nothing that needs to be altered. So I have hit an impasse - unless you know different!

I just noticed I have the same problem.
Don't use Libronix very often, but I tried to sync my licenses and it also tells me I am not connected to the internet.
Not very likely since I have no problem with Logos5 connecting.
I will check out my anti virus software to see if it is blocking it. [:'(]

At this point it would be best to call or email customer service. You can find the best way for you to do that here: https://www.logos.com/contact
Note: A phone call seems to be the most reliable and fastest way to get help. If that's possible for you to that. If you email them you can anticipate this taking a couple of days.

Richard, I have the same problem. It is the Libronix that is being blocked.
I can´t get it to sync either.
Libronix says that it can not connect to the internet. ( I am using windows 7)

Don´t know why, but I switched the interface from Spanish to English and then it worked. Why your guess is better then mine. [:D]
