Ok, I am a very long-term Logos user (I started in 1994, I think...version 1.2?), and I feel stupid for not realizing this feature on Logos 5: using "Reading View" (F11) works very nice on my Surface Pro. The normal view isn't nearly as "Tablet-y", but using Reading View is very similar to the iPad experience (except you can do more, of course. :) )

Great suggestion, Daniel.  I, too, am a long time Logos user, but never made much use of the "Reading View".  In the past, I have just floated the panel and made it full screen.  Then I would just scroll to read.

After reading your post, I tried the "Reading View" this morning, and I like it.  I am still trying to decide if I prefer swiping to scrolling, but it is nice to have this option.

One thing I did notice is that F11 does not put Logos into the "Reading View" on my Surface Pro 2.  I have to click on the resource tab and select "reading view" to use it.  Is that unique to the Surface Pro 2, or is it caused by Windows 8, or by Logos 5?

Thanks for the reminder Daniel. I have used it the past but now I do most of my reading on an iPad mini so I sort of forgot about it.

How do you highlight in Reading View, especially without using the keyboard?

With the keyboard, Reading View in Logos 5 is great.  Without the keyboard, it's maddening.

Not sure about the F11, but I can check next time I have Logos up on my Asus T100 (a cheaper alternative to the Surface tablets, but with similar design/specs).

Thanks for pointing out this feature.  It's been a long time since I've used it.
