Logos adding email subscriptions

Logos has subscribed me to email subscriptions I have not agreed to receive. This also happened over a year ago. I recently subscribed to "personalized offers" but cancelled after most emails were not personalized. Within a few weeks someone in Logos had me subscribed again along with a few other selections. Am I the only one experiencing this problem?

I've been clean for several years now.

I wonder if it's the sweepstakes with the small writing that one agrees to email offers?

No, you're not the only one. I've unchecked the so called "Personalized" list -- which, I agree, is anything but "personalized" -- I don't know how many times, but a couple of months later it's always back again.

seems to be true in my case too.

    Hi all,

You can find out what lists you are subscribed to here: https://www.logos.com/account/emaillists

You can uncheck any boxes for the lists you wouldn't like to get emails from.
If you want to make sure to never get a marketing email from us again, that page gives you the option up top to unsubscribe from all. I'll try not to be too sad if you click it. ;)

Sometimes it takes up to 10 days for our systems to recognize the unsubscribe, so our apologies for any delay.  If it seems like the unsubscribe didn't work, you can contact our customer service department.  If there are problems, they will get a hold of me, and I'll do everything I can to make sure our systems are doing what they're supposed to do.

Thanks for bringing up the issue.  We never want to force our way into your inbox, and we really want to send you only emails that you'll like!

Yes, we can, but it makes little difference. That's the whole point. Like I said above, I've unchecked the so called "Personalized" list -- which isn't the least bit personalized -- half a dozen times or more by now, and a few weeks or months later, the e-mails start coming again. It happened this very morning, in fact. I unchecked a month ago. Yet, today I got another mail, and when I went to my account, I found the list checked again. And this time I found the CP list checked as well. That one I unsubscribed from two years ago or so.

Welcome to Logos and to the forum.

Why does it take 10 days?  [example unacceptable answer: 'you were subscribed ten days ago when we started working on the email'. That works for a dead tree company but not a leading edge computerized one!]

And why are some seeing items that they unsubscribed to now as subscribed? [example unacceptable answer: 'we did a restore of that section of the website to before you unsubscribed']

A couple of months ago I got fed up with all the marketing emails and unsubscribed from everything. A couple of weeks later I was magically back on the lists, but I figured this was no matter, and just unsubscribed again. Today I received a new marketing email, and somehow I was back on the lists again. I don't get it either. Am I doing something that makes this happen? If so, how come I do not know about it? Should it not be obvious?

These are the lists I was added to:

I have fixed it now, but like the rest of us, I would appreciate if I staid off the lists I might subscribe again.
