I don't have any resources for that off the top of my head. A quick thought: Use Gen 1:1 & John 1:1 as bookends.

If you wish to create verses in Genesis regarding Jesus, that is precisely what you will need to do—CREATE them (the "Protevagelium" of Gen 3.15 notwithstanding).

There are a number of Logos resources and dead tree resources of "Jesus/Christ in the Old Testament" genre. I would work through some of them.

Orthodox Bishop Hilarion Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."

Yes, true all the answers are in the bible ..

I'm askin' if anyone could help me compile prophecy verses that would "flow" until the birth of Jesus from Genesis.. (for our Christmas drama)

I'd appreciate it.

Here's my collection of books I've tagged "ChristInOT" -- perhaps you have (or would be willing to buy) some of these which could help you with your task.

I don't know of anyone who has put together such prophecies in a narrative order that follows the life of Christ.(*) It's usually done in canonical order, or sometimes thematically. I'm sure you'd find some gaps in any such narrative anyway. There is no prophecy of his baptism, that I know of, for example. However, if you include foreshadowing in addition to direct prophecy, you will be able to fill in some of the gaps. For example Israel passing through the water is echoed in Christ's baptism, as is Aaron's washing and anointing by Moses in Lev 8.

(*) I take that back; I just found (by Googling "life of christ" "messianic prophecies") this, which does pretty much what you're looking for: http://brittgillette.com/WordPress/?page_id=21. And here's another one: http://thedevineevidence.com/prophecy_jesus.html

I'm having problems mainly with the forum on IE which has not been resolved. I use HTML coding to avoid having my post be one long string of text. One of the problems with that is that links are not clickable (and I don't know why).

You have to type a space after pasting a link in, no matter what browser you're using. It didn't used to have that problem, but something they changed in the forum software caused this a while back. Pain in the neck, but we got used to it and stopped complaining.

That, George is the same problem I'm having!                 I prefer IE by far over Google Chrome; but that's what I'm using tonight!        Rosie gave me a couple of possible ideas that I hope to try over the weekend ...                  *smile*               Thanks again for the Kings College PDF!

In this case the space following doesn't solve the problem—I already tried that.
