I have 6-10 slides that rotate every 15 seconds until the timer counts down.  These play for about 30 minutes before our 5 minute countdown.  I want to create an audio file that is 30 minutes long that plays entirely without just repeating the first song over and over.  How can I accomplish this?  Why do videos lock up so frequently on proclaim?  I'm doing a trial now but might have to go with a more stable product.

Thanks

Welcome to the forums Michael! Smile

Unfortunately, I don't have anything for you. This thread might be moved to the proclaim forum, where you will find more help.

You can add audio to the whole section, such as the Pre-Service Loop by selecting the audio icon next to the section divider.

I did that.  Unfortunately, the problem is this.  The pre-service loop lasts for almost 2 minutes but it repeats for a total of 25 minutes.

The audio starts over after the 2 minutes to follow the pre-service loop.  I don't want the length of the loop to change but want the full 25 minutes of audio to play without starting over.

Just to add that this is the logical way it should work (I think :-) )

If I wanted the song to repeat with the announcements I would attach it to the slides rather than the section.

Hello Michael,

If you choose to add background audio as hunter suggested (clicking the speaker next to 'pre-service loop'), it should be set to play the song fully without starting over. You should be able to ensure that this happens by clicking the speaker after adding a song (or songs) and making sure that you have 'continue/repeat until:' set to 'end of playlist'. This should ensure that the whole playlist will play in the background until either the playlist ends or the pre-service loop ends.

Greetings Emma

The secret may be to make sure that you add your playlist at the point shown. ie as a single list attached to the 'Preservice Loop' not to any individual item therein.Screenshot 2021-09-13 At 08.18.08
