This function (add from clipboard to passage list) often fails to add references to alternative names:
If I'm not mistaken, we don't actually have canon "alternate names" for references. So the only case where using "Apoc" instead of Revelation might work would be if you had a Bible where it was directly labeled as such. In this case, the NRSV doesn't, so the reference is passed over.
So you're saying that I have to have a Bible such as D-R as # 1 if I am reading a resource that uses Vulgate names and NAB or NRSV as #1 otherwise? That adds a great deal of weight to my request that Logos include metadata telling me what Bible translation the resource uses by default. Could you double check this with Andrew Jones or Bradley because it is a growing problem as Catholic and Orthodox resources are added.
The Bible data type is programmed to recognise alternate names, e.g. "Qoheleth" or "Canticles" (try them, they should work!).
However, "Apocalypse" is simply not present as an alias for Revelation. I don't know why this is; probably just an inadvertent omission.

This has been fixed and will be properly recognized in future versions.
