How can you make the cross-references you put into a PB show up in PG/Explorer?

I'm playing around with creating a Bible Cross-Reference Index type Personal Book. I cannot seem to make the references I add to it show up in the Cross-References section of a PG and in the Explorer tool, under the Cross References section. Is there any way to do that? That would be the primary reason for being able to create one's own Cross-References document, it would seem to me. Otherwise, what's the point?

I'm beginning to try to recreate the NIV Study Bible cross-references, which I've always found to be very useful. I hope someday they are available in a Logos edition, but in the meantime I might chip away at them myself. But only if it makes any sense. And right now, it's looking to me like it doesn't.

I suspect not. See HELP! my memory cache is full.

After reading that whole thread and this one that it links to, I think the fact that it doesn't pick them up is a bug. I will report it in a new thread.
