I just received a print-on-demand reprint of this antiquarian book that I'd ordered, and I'm looking forward to reading it. It would make a good addition to Logos's catalog.

"Where Is The Lord God Of Elijah?" by Enos Kincheloe Cox (1929)

It's a book on prayer meant "to arouse the slumbering saints from their perilous lethargy and fan the dying embers of their zeal into a burning enthusiasm for righteousness and redemption." "It comes from the pen and brain and heart of a successful pastor who grapples with the vital issues of the hour and writes in clear forcible English about the things of superlative worth in these days which try the souls of men and the patience of God. The golden thread running through the book is the power and privilege of prayer..." (from the introduction by Byron Hoover DeMent).

The only biographical information I've been able to dig up about the author is that he had a Doctor of Divinity degree, and was pastor of the First Baptist Church of Gloster, Miss.
