For a good, Reformed presentation of the relationship between the Old and New Testaments, along with a Reformed, and therefore not dispensational, discussion of the relationship of the church and Israel, consider this book: https://www.logos.com/product/37523/jesus-and-israel-one-covenant-or-two

David Holwerda was one of my professors at Calvin Seminary. A very gentle and thoughtful man in addition to being a careful and skilled student of Scripture.
