Set Custom Chrome to No Performance Boost.
I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but when I used the L4a "Set Custom Chrome to No" command I got a noticeable increase in performance.
I originally tried this for my Nettop installation (Win 7 x64 4GB) to clear the dual monitor bug, and found that after changing that setting, the scrolling speed is actually usable on this system (dual core Atom processor doesn't have the horses to run L4 well).
Just to confirm, I tried this setting on my laptop (Vista x32 2GB) and found the scrolling to be snappier as well.
Question to our friendly L4 developers: Are there other eye-candy settings you might feel like allowing us lower-end hardware users to change?

thanks for the tip...also...did you see the tip about lectionaries???
Evidently; if your lectionary is set to "links to open panels" then it bogs scrolling down WHETHER you are currently using the lectionary or not!

no need to apologize....you should see the questions I ask! lol....
Here is a screen shot...make sure all of your lectionaries are set this way....unchecked.

you gain or lose nothing. it was actually brought about as a fix for the dreaded "black window bar" in Windows 7.
I only did it to play around, I didn't even really need to do it.
