Bug 5.2a RC1: Artifacts when Library is sorted by Edition

Sort Library by Edition as below:

Start to filter Library by typing edition

When I type the 't' or delete it, the display flickers.

When I type the 'u' in edition:u, it also flickers.

Then it flickers after backward deleting some of the letters.

EDIT: It is more noticeable because of the horizontal banding as flicker also occurs in v5.2.

On Mac, if I type slowly, it happens after every single letter is added or deleted. (Of course, I have the bad habit of looking at the keyboard instead of the screen, so I'm not as bothered by it as I might have been.)
