Logos in German

Hello Tech guys,
Firstly I am German and a like your idea to make something in German.
The thing is, 99,9% of my books in Logos are in English. So, if I try to open a passage guide in Logos in English , I have to do it in German which is more confusing. Can I somehow switch the language and go back to English?
It is not helpful to have the platform in German if there almost no books in German.
I try to open 1 John chapter 4 which is in German 1 Johannes but somehow the German version in Logos goes only till chapter 3?
I am not able to open chapter 4.
Thanks for you help
Nico

Hi Mick,
I just saw it for the first time. I already switched back to English.
Thank you very much.
Logos may still have to try to fix the problem with 1 John which only goes till the 3rd chapter in German.

Actually it isn't a problem with the Bible. The Luther 1984 is complete in Logos but if you want to open a passage guide in order to study with commentaries and so on.
It doesn't open, if you type in chapter 4. It stops with chapter 3 there.
If you type in 1 John it will show you all the topics till chapter 3 and won't show you anything after.
Thanks again
Nico

I can replicate this. To catch the attention of a Logos employee (they post with a blue company Logo under their avatar picture) I put a thread into the beta forum: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/84532.aspx where testers and even the head of development drop by regularly and will probably notice. If this doesn't help, we can raise this issue in the German language subforum with Thomas, the product manager. I hope they'll have this sorted out quickly and ship a fix soon.

Thanks a lot of the quick replay.
It would be very helpful to replicate this in order to help other German users.
Thank you so much

If we do it in German Hoochdietsch, I think we need to do a Plautdietsch Bible, too!!

Thanks Bradley for taking care of that!
Looking forward to see this fixed soon, but it's nice to know the workaround is to leave away the period for the time being and be able to work with all the guides throughout the bible.

Nico, this has been fixed in the current beta and thus will work as expected for all users of the German UI when this becomes the official release.
