PBB Observations (5.2b B1 Mac OSX 10.9.3)
It has been a while since I have used the PBB. I don't know if the things I observed tonight are related to the beta version or not... but here's the good, the bad and the ugly. [:)]
- [The Good] I absolutely LOVE how the PBB tool now scrolls on Mac. It used to be VERY sluggish and jerky, but now it scrolls freely like books do.
- [The Bad] I wish the PBB would allow you to close a book (in the tool... not the actual book) and move to another one more quickly. This behavior hasn't changed from other versions of the app.
- [The Ugly] When the PBB FIRST came out, I found that a restart was needed nearly EVERY time after a build before you could rebuild again. It got much better... it might be 10-15 rebuilds before you would have to restart Logos. At present, I am back to restarting Logos after EVERY build. Especially with the slowness of Logos opening and closing on Mac, this is a big issue.

I've done three in a row on Windows, which is good going for me!
.
The GOOD (for me & others) is that VolumePage jumps now work with my multi-volume PB, and I can jump between internal volume/page milestones.

Just to clarify: Are you talking about "Could not remove existing resource" errors? We have an active case for that, and I can add this thread to that.

Apparently yes.
