David Paul:
A more current voice should be consulted to confirm the current status of this issue.

Huh? Libby's wondering about your logic. A modern answer to a modern question, over top an older discussion.

They are transferable but at a fee of 10% of each collection/resource retail price that you want to be transferring. So for instance from how I understand it if you purchased the gold scholars at lets say $1300 then it would be between $130 to transfer it. However that is just if you purchased the disc format, if you chose to go straight to download then from what I understand that isn't transferable.

I'm glad I saw this thread in my email today. I've been using this program since its beginning. I remember possibly 15 to 20 years ago there being a forum discussion on being able to transfer the program and resource contents to our children or anyone else at our death. At that time it was clear that we could transfer the program perhaps with a fixed transfer fee, not the per-resource fee that I'm reading about in this thread. It appears that the current policy simply makes it impossible for me to give my extensive library to my children or even donate it to a young pastor when I die. I think what Logos has done is robbery and disgusts me. Since many books are cheaper in print form I will purchase anything I want to pass on to my children or anyone else in print form from now on and I'm going to immediately cut my purchases of Logos resources to the bear bones of what I need to prepare lessons and sermons and no more.

Have a great day,

This is Logos' current word on the subject:

If you want to transfer your entire account to a different user it would be just one fee as far as I can see. If it gets more complicated with multiple users I can see that costing more with multiple fees required.
