Anyone else experiencing this? When I click on a book that I would like to look at, the page opens, but immediately goes to the bottom of the newly opened page. It seems to happen with Logos and not other websites. Strange.
mm.
I've not seen that before. Can you duplicate the error? If so perhaps you could post it on the Logos Website forums.
So this is what I've noticed so far. Right now I'm replying to u from my iPad. While I was logged in to my account I was having my original problem of going to the bottom of the page. However after logging out of my account I no longer had the issue of going to the bottom of the page.
now that I'm logged back in, the problem occurs. I'll try this on my desk top tomorrow. Too tired to do it now - the milkman needs his sleep. Long day.
I'm experiencing the same problem on my iPad.

I'm not seeing this on my browser. Let us know which pages are doing this.

Milkmen are hard workers!
To clarify: this is happening on WEB PAGES and only on the iPAD. Is that right? Can you give us explicit instructions (i.e. including name of book) on how to reproduce?
The same problem here!!
Every page is doing this. I'm now at my desk top in my office and ALL PAGES are doing this. In every drop down catergory from the ribbon is doing this. HOWEVER, and once again, when I sign out of my account, whether it's on my ipad or desktop, I do not experience the problem.

Bama? not only on my ipad, but desk top as well. Only in Logos pages. When I'm browsing through categories of books and see one that i'm interested in, i'll click it and it will take me to the description of that said book, BUT it will jump to the bottom of that said page. This happens on both my ipad and desktop and only when i'm signed in. This DOES NOT happen when i'm signed out of both my ipad and desktop.
Yes Bruce we are hard workers, but got to make the coin to support my bad habit of purchasing books. [Y]
I don't have this behaviour on my PC laptop nor on my ipad mini. I'm not sure what to think.
I just talked with customer support. We found that on my PC I.E. was NOT experiencing this issue. However, we reset the Chrome settings back to default and that worked. Thanks John.
Still having issues on my iPad though.
I have been having the same problem beginning yesterday afternoon. It is with Safari browser--when I use Google search to get to logos.com I have no problem. And I am signed in. If I am signed out, no problem.
If I open Safari, type in www.logos.com and sign in once I get to the website. Then, I select Store and then New books. I select the first book and the product page loads but then automatically without me touching the screen it scrolls down as if I were using a finger swipe up to read the bottom of the page. I can scroll back using a finger swipe down and I see the top of the page. Automatically, it scrolls down and I see nothing.
That's exactly what happens with Safari with me too.

I use Safari too. It's only with logos webpage. I don't have any problem with other webpages. Can logos do something?
It was not doing this when I checked using Safari on my ipad mini.
Hi, all--
We're replicating this and are looking into it. We'll let you know when we have a fix in place.
Great to know that it's not just the milkman's imagination! By the way it started up again on my PC after resetting Chrome back to defaults.

Still in problem.[:'(]
My PC doesn't do it any longer, but my iPad is still wonky, so said Wiilie
Still in problem.
Milkman
I have the same problem on my notebook using Google Chrome.
Don't know what happened overnight but I have the problem accessing the Logos website using Google today. Neither Google nor Safari work right when signed in.
I feel for you folks that are experiencing this but I have still not seen this behaviour on my PC using Firefox or on my ipad mini using Safari. I wonder why.
You must be living a right life and I'll only speak for myself in comparison [6]
I have this happening on my laptop. I started tagging my books Friday and when I open my library, the slider at the right is at the top, but my library opens at the bottom. Very strange.[:S]

The issue in this thread isn't about Logos. It is about the Logos website.
Right, the issue is with the Logos website. it's continuously & automatically trying to refresh and connect to different webpages, but without out success. it's a mess. I don't know why it took them to long time to address this problem?
waiting for faithlife.com, connecting ............. . .this is what it does, it doesn't open any of those pages but continuously attempts. . .it's ....

Right![Y] It's obvious that they would lose some business.

If you think you are experiencing an issue, feel free to start a new thread. Since it seems to be an L5 issue, please create one in that forum.
No, it was my bad. I forgot that if you click on the triangle at the top left, it will reverse your library from top to bottom.
I can work around the glitche. No problem. Others who are new may experience problems.
FWIW, Everybody, the same problem is happening on the Vyrso site, via Safari.
Everyone,
This is occurring on all browsers regardless of platform. It occurs when you are signed into Logos.com/Vyrso.com but not also signed into Faithlife.com.
The temporary workaround is to also sign in to Faithlife.com. If you sign into Faithlife.com, you should not experience the jumping problem.
I'm in touch with the developer working on this case, and will try to have a status update for you all later.
Thanks for your patience!
Hi Toby!
Thank you for the response. However, in Chrome I had a tab open to faithlife.com and signed in. Another tab open to logos.com and signed in. Still jumped to the bottom of the page.

Just to clarify: You are signed into the same account on both sites, right?

Mike, are you experiencing this consistently?
I think it jumped down once shortly after signing into Faithlife. The small delay is probably due to latency between the two sites. Once the delay finishes, however, I've been unable to replicate any jumping on product pages.

I've been getting this and got it again today. The page is still trying to load several minutes after first connecting to it.
I suspect it has to do with the rendering of the customer review module, as I do see that in Firefox for the same page(s). (I don't have this problem with FF - Chrome is my default browser, where I do have the issue).
(If it's an addin or plugin, this could be difficult to isolate.)
Sorry, didn't get back to this as I was waiting for email... glad that is being worked on! [:)]
Yes, I am still experiencing this consistently. Using Chrome in Windows 7. Faithlife is open in one tab, Logos.com is open in another. Of Course, Chrome does sandbox the tabs...
Maybe IE would work with faithlife.com open in another tab?
Still not reproducing in Chrome 37, Firefox 31, or IE 11.
Mike, are you signed into the same account in both tabs? When the page jumps down, do the reviews for the product display?
If you could point me to a specific page that is jumping for you, that would be helpful as well.
Thanks!
The page is still trying to load several minutes after first connecting to it.
Richard, can you elaborate? I don't seem to have troubles with the page itself loading, just with the review plug-in near the bottom of the page when I'm not also signed into Faithlife. Is that what you meant?

Today I'm not getting an endless loop. But the review module still isn't displayed in Chrome.
I'm always signed in with my Logos account (I assume that's the same as being signed in with my Faithlife acc't).
Hi Richard,
Being logged into Logos does not automatically log you into your Faithlife account even though they are the same user name and password.
After logging into both www.logos.com and www.faithlife.com the problem seems to be fixed for me.
Seems to be fixed for me today. sorry I didn't respond earlier. Not getting emails to prompt me.

Any news regarding a fix yet? I'm no longer experiencing the problem on Logos.com, but the glitch persists on Vyrso.com. (Using Safari on Mavericks)

I was wrong. I'm experiencing the same problem on Logos.com once again.
I've had the same problem for quite a while now, and I'm really not interested in a workaround that means signing into something I have no interest in. Please fix this - it's annoying and surely not that hard to fix if there's someone at Logos that knows what they're doing,
...and another thing... I'm really fed up with this "Sorry, there was a problem with your last request!" thing too. I get the feeling this whole Logos thing is falling apart around our ears.

I confirmed that I am logged into both accounts. I still have a problem with some pages, though it's not as bad as it was (I seem to be able to use the pages now, however there still seems to be an endless loop going on trying to load the user reviews.)
Jumping to the bottom still happens with Safari and also with Google on the Logos website. It doesn't happen on any other website. Had this problem for several weeks now and no better and I would think that by now Logos would have fixed it.
We shipped a quick fix yesterday to alleviate the jumping problem. The reviews plug-in still needs work, but you shouldn't be forced down to the bottom of product pages.
Please respond here if the fix doesn't appear to be working for you. Thank you all for your patience.
