When you first hear this suggestion, you're probably going to think I'm crazy, but here it goes...
I would like to see a feature in Logos (even if it's a little hidden so average users won't accidentally use it) where I could set certain layouts I'm working in to automatically update book positions even when I'm not in the layout.
Now most of the time, that defeats the whole purpose of having a layout, since you usually want to save your book positions.
But here's what I want it for.
I'm using a few layouts in seminary more as window positions of books instead of bookmarking actual book positions. I've created a few layouts of all my courses so I can easily call up, reference, search, etc., those books when typing papers, discussions, etc.
At times I'll also open one of them on my iPad and be reading through a chapter or article, then come back to the layout later.
It would be great if by the time I came back to the layout and called it up, instead of it defaulting to the last position in the book when I saved the layout, it would instead default to the last place I was at on my iPad so I could take the research further.
It probably sounds crazy, but it'd sure be useful in times like this.
Thanks!
