Here are some of the useful techniqes I found in using Logos 4.  Maybe others could add to this list and this post could be stickied by the moderator to the top.

1. <CTRL> R allows one's displayed screen to be read aloud to the user.

2. F8 allows markups to the displayed screen.

3. After the user has developed a useful layout, save with a name and tnen drag it to the Toolbar on top for easy use in each session.

4. To display notes in any Bible, open the 3 leaf clover next to the Bible Verse Field on top and link to the named Note File.  Do this after at least one Note was created for that Bible.  Otherwise, Bibles may not display Notes properly.

5. One can leave automatic updates off and type "Update Now" in the command filed on top.  Then drag it from the associated "Tools\Update Now" displayed to the Toolbar on top for easy updating by one click.

6. Click on Help to find Keyboard Shortcuts.  Then click on Favorites and use <CTRL><SHIFT> 1 to save it.  Then drag the shortcut from the Favorites Pane to the Toolbar on top.  Then just one click can get you all the keyboard shortcuts.

7. F11 allows any pane to occupy the entire screen for easy reading.

The Logos wiki is where these things are stored (http://wiki.logos.com/).  For example, see the Hints and Tips page (http://wiki.logos.com/Hints_and_Tips). The wiki is editable by anyone with a Logos account.

Also, there's the New Features page on the main Logos site (http://www.logos.com/4/newfeatures), which should be read by anyone new to Logos4.
