Strange Greek Fonts in Mac Beta
I'm looking at Black's Learn to Read New Testament Greek. I'm using the latest Mac beta build (let me know if you need the actual version number). My Mac is running Yosemite (10.10) beta 3.
The Greek fonts in the book are displaying strange (see attached). Is that a bug or something I can correct through the program's setting menu?
Thanks!

Nathan, I'm not sure what is causing the problem you are experiencing. I have been running my Logos on my Mac for a while now. And I have Dave's book in my library package. It doesn't appear like what you are seeing. Have you called their customer service line?

The problem is I'm running a beta copy of Logos and a beta copy of OS X. I'm not sure who I'd talk to at Logos about it. :-)
I'm wondering if a Greek font is missing or if I have a font setting incorrect. I can post that to see if it matches yours.
Thanks!

uh... Yes. You should always post the version number.
What typefaces are you using in the program settings menu?

What is the Logos 5.3 Beta Version and Greek Font in Program Settings ?
Apologies: unable to replicate using Gentium font in Logos 5.3 Beta 2 ( 5.3.0.1141) on OS X 10.10 Public Beta 3

Nathan,
I was seeing the same thing in all my Greek texts. When I looked at the Greek font in the Preferences dialog, I had selected something other than Default. Once I toggled the setting to Default, things were fine. Hopefully they'll fix it over time, I happen to like the SBL font. I note that the SBL Hebrew font works fine in beta 2.

Here's the Version Number of Logos:
Here's my font settings. I'm thinking the font I have picked is probably causing the issue:

Thanks for the info! Which font should I choose for Greek? Default or something else?

Nathan
I like the elegant font Gentium which looks fine displaying Greek in L5, L4 and L3 (aka Libronix).
Every blessing

Does Logos 5.3 Beta 3 fix SBL Greek appearance ?
Wiki => https://wiki.logos.com/Logos_5.3_Beta_3 has reference to this thread. Verified Verbum 5.3 Beta 3 on OS 10.10 Public Beta 5 looks OK for all greek fonts.

OK great. So provided I update my Logos to the latest build, I can choose whichever Greek font I want to use?
Thanks!
