The Loeb editions (Greek and English) of Herodotus' The Persian Wars appears to be up for sale!

Wonderful news, but I thought it was still languishing in the bowels of CP purgatory?

Interesting observation.  Logos is competing with itself.  And it must really be tough competition.

But to be fair, the new one includes a greek intro, plus an old etymology book (both certainly worth $92 together).

I put in a bid for the $4 version since the other one doesn't include Holy Ghost greek.

"God will save his fallen angels and their broken wings He'll mend."

They moved the bar down to 4 dollars. Bid now and you'll get one of the foundational texts of Western history for 4 smackers: it's ready to go!
