New Feature: Inline Search
What is it?
The new Inline Search feature allows you to perform advanced searching within a resource without opening additional panels. Search for English terms, exact phrases, Greek or Hebrew lemmas, and more without leaving your Bible.
No more opening multiple panels to track down the answers you need—get all the benefits of a separate search within individual resources. Streamline your searching and stay focused in your study with the new Inline Search tool.
How does it work?
Simply select the magnifying glass icon from within your preferred Bible. A dropdown box will appear. Enter your desired word in the search box.
Search individual resources by verse, morphology, paragraph, and more, and get a clickable list of relevant passages. You can also search English, Greek, and Hebrew words.
Then, Inline Search will filter your text to verses which contain the specified word.

How do I get it?
Inline Search is available in Core Crossgrade and Starter-level base packages and higher.

I love inline search. An improvement would be to hyperlink verse references so that we can see context in a unlinked bible or without having to manually enter the information or link a bible.

Beloved, you probably know this, but you can click where is says verse on the upper right and select pericope for more context.

I didn't realize that. It does improve the experience immensely and as an added bonus keeps you in a single pane. Love it.

I have been enjoying this feature since upgrading. In taking it through its paces, I have encountered more areas where I would like to suggest improvement.
- One should be able to change the Search parameters without having it revert to the default "All Passages"
e.g. Say you are exploring the word repent in your fav bible; you do an inline Search and it returns 69 passages where repent and its related terms are used. Now after focusing in on a particularly apt passage you discover that Luke is frequently the recorder of this theme. You would like to isolate his usages and note the number of times he is the recorder. You are able to change the Search parameter to the Luke's writings, but the parameter jumps back to the default "All Passages," being able to stay in one panel is most desirable and would add to the power of this search capability.
- One should be able to navigate back and forth through ones search panels, returning to your base text with ease.
I suggest that the bold arrows at the top of the panel pointing to the right and the left be adapted towards this end. Again the ability to stay in one panel is emphasized here.
- Finally, I would like to see the feature to "match case" and "match all word forms" added to this search.
This adds to the precision of your search criteria again stays within a single panel.

Is there anything that would prevent the "inline Search from
operating properly? Perhaps a setting or something? I followed the Morris Procter video and I believe precisely as his steps suggest to isolate the word typed within the Inline Search box, yet is does not remove the irrelevant scriptures that do not contain that word, They still appear.Peace & Blessings,
