Bug: Can't always highlight in the Wikipedia tool
To reproduce:
- Open a resource, the Wikipedia tool (to any article) and the highlighting tool.
- Select some text in the resource.
- Now select some text in Wikipedia.
- Apply highlighting to the currently selected text by clicking in the Highlighting tool.
Result: The previously selected text in the resource will be highlighted.
Expected result: The most recently selected text in the Wikipedia tool will be highlighted.
In addition, it's impossible to erase highlighting from Wikipedia using the Erase button or CTRL+SHIFT+K. You have to open the notes document and delete the highlighting from there.
Finally, you can't use keyboard shortcuts to highlight text in the Wikipedia tool.

Yep, this is related, not the same but related, to a bug I reported earlier. Confirmed.

Thank you for reporting these. I've made cases and we'll see about addressing these.

The following has been fixed with Wikipedia and Highlighting in 6.0a RC1.
- Keyboard shortcuts for adding and removing Highlights now work correctly.
- Highlighting can now be erased properly. (Note: when erasing the only remaining highlight on a page, it must be refreshed to disappear. This is being fixed.)
- Fixed issue where having selected text in a resource panel would highlight instead of more recently selected text in Wikipedia panel. (Note: Currently they both highlight. This is being fixed.)
- Added the correct “Open/Remove Annotations” context menu options for Wikipedia highlights.
