Annoyance Bug: Can L6 be smarter about where guides are opened?
See https://community.logos.com/forums/t/86819.aspx , with screenshots.
Briefly, guides require a lot of vertical space, even if only one section is expanded. Opening them in a panel whose vertical client window size is 200px makes no sense, especially when there are open windows 800px tall where they could be opened.
Thanks,
Donnie

This has been a consistent problem, and I hope Logos addresses it for 6.0a or soon thereafter.
In the meantime, Donnie, you know, I presume, that you can drag the Guide name from the Guides menu to open it wherever you want? Just drag it and hover over a larger tab where you want the guide to open, and when you release the mouse button it will open there instead of picking a (seemingly) random place to open.

I am aware of that. I'm not a dragger, by nature (though many would claim that I'm a knuckle dragger). I drag when forced, like when a guide opens in the wrong place. Ctrl-C, Ctrl-X, Ctrl-V, baby. Wordstar 2.0. That's all we need!
Thanks for the reply,
Donnie

Rosie,
We've started looking into this issue. Hopefully it will appear in a beta soon.

This should be fixed in 6.0a Beta 2.
