CRASH with strange error 6484 - ideas?

A German user of L5 stable (5.2b SR-7) experiences a repeated crash of Logos, even when staring to a blank layout. The logos.log doesn't show anything, the crashlog gives error 6484 "Wrong Datatype" - google doesn't find any discussion of this in the whole forum & my log-reading abilities are exhausted. It could be a problem with the preferred lectionary, or the preferred Bible (or a combination of both). I'm not sure if he would have time (when opening to a blank layout) to quickly remove preferred resources before the crash happens, then see if it's fixed after restart?

Reinhard reports that Logos crashes immediately - he just sees the grey empty layout and then the error message is there.

Is there a file he could delete? Will a reinstall of L5 be needed (or even helpful if a resource is corrupt)? Do you need a procdump? Maybe someone from support who speaks German could reach out to him directly.

EDIT: For whatever reason, Reinhard manged to start L5 and it reindexed something and now everything is in working condition again. Thanks for your help, Bradley.
