Perhaps I'm doing it wrong, or perhaps there is room for improvement (Sermon Search)

{Label Sermon WHERE References = <Bible Eph 2:1-10>} brings up one sermon by piper. But if I search for {Label Sermon WHERE References = <Bible Eph 2:3>} I find there are two sermons that cover this verse. Should they have been included in the first search, and shouldn't the results of the first search have been included in the second? Finally if I search for simply eph 2 (same syntax as before with no verse mentioned) I would have expected to find all three sermons. Instead I find none.

All three sermons do speak on Eph 2:3, and Eph 2:3 is part of the range of the first search. All three sermons ought to be part of the range of the third search as well.

Or am I not understanding?

abondservant:
WHERE References = <Bible Eph 2:1-10>

The equals sign (=) is asking for an exact match. Use ~ to find intersecting/overlapping references:

{Label Sermon WHERE References ~ <Eph 2:1-10>}
