Today of all days I got up extra early to do some work. I was unaware of the situation at Logos this weekend and was wondering why everything was so sluggish. Watching a spinning beach ball give you plenty of time to think.

Is it possible to start up or work off line  with Logos? Will it still call home if I turn off updates?

Just give it a go! Some things won't work, or only work partially, but it is possible to do things.

It is possible to work offline with Logos. Go to Tools->Program Settings->Use Internet. Set that to NO.

Hope this helps.

Spinning beach ball sounds like you're working on a Mac. In that case to work off-line temporarily hold down the command key as you start up Logos. If you are launching Logos from the dock, first click the Logos icon then hold down the command key. You will be presented with a dialogue that allows you to select work off-line.
