Unexpected behaviour: Filtered Bible ignores "Send Hyperlinks Here"

To reproduce:

  1. Filter a Bible (e.g. by running a Topic Guide and clicking on Open xx Passages in ESV).
  2. Click on one of the verse headings to open a second copy of your Bible in a new tab.
  3. In that additional copy, click the resource menu and choose Send hyperlinks here.
  4. Click on a second verse heading.

Expected result: The "Send hyperlinks here" Bible will scroll to the new location.
Actual result: A new third Bible opened in a new tab.

I appreciate that this is not technically a bug, as clicking on the headings is designed to open Bible references in a new tab. Nonetheless, it's not desirable behaviour, as you could very quickly end up with dozens of tabs open — and the new tab often ends up right on top of the filtered Bible you're trying to read, too.

We agree with you, and we already have a case open for this problem. I know someone was doing some initial investigation of a solution, but I don't have an estimate for when or if that will be completed. I've added a link to this thread to the case.

This should be fixed in 6.0b Beta 2.
