Error in Bible Atlas
If I right click on the word Ephesus in my NKJV In Ephesians 1:1 and select Place and then Atlas, in the Atlas I see a map of Ephraim.

It appears that the Atlas simply opens to its last position and map. This new feature seems far from being ready for prime time.John Brumett said:If I right click on the word Ephesus in my NKJV In Ephesians 1:1 and select Place and then Atlas, in the Atlas I see a map of Ephraim.

The atlas performs a search filter on the left panel to show you maps associated with Ephesus (which you can then pick), but looks like it should be opening the first map result and isn't currently doing so. I'll report this.

That was not true in my case. As I noted, the Atlas opened to the last used map which did not contain Ephesus. The map was for the Divided Kingdom some years/centuries prior to the establishment of Ephesus.

I can't reproduce this: Is this what you're seeing after you click on atlas from the Ephesus right click context menu?
If so, other than the map "Biblical World - The Early Church" not loading (a bug which will be fixed soon) automatically, that is the expected result - we just only have one map which has Ephesus associated with it (and it's a 'general' world map which doesn't contain any Ephesus specific events). If this is not what you're seeing, could you post a screenshot and logs from clicking the atlas context menu option?
Also currently in progress is a new feature which will visually display the place you're searching for on the map that you're viewing.

Did not happen to have a resource with Ephesus open, but I tried a different location with unsatisfactory results.
The Atlas opened at the last referenced map
Sure, Bethel is somewhere in there, but that is a very unsatisfactory result to my click.

That will be welcome.

The map "Jacob Returns to Canaan" should load as it's ranked first in the results. This is the bug for which I have filed a report.

This is fixed in 6.0b, which is now shipping to stable users.

Well, sort of fixed. Wouldn't it make more sense to center the target location? I completely missed Ephesus on the first try because I zoomed the map which was centered somewhere in the Mediterranean.

I agree with Jack. I still have to zoom and pan the map to try and find what I am looking for.
I'll stick with using the old maps that come up in Factbook.
