BUG: clicking in the reference window does not select contents
I believe in L5 when one clicked inside of the reference window, the contents became selected, and a user could simply type a new reference
However, in L6, when one clicks in the reference window, the contents briefly get selected and then deselected. One has to either double-click again, or do click-and-drag to select the reference.
This is a regression which makes using Logos more time consuming.
Yosemite 10.10.1 and
Logos Bible Software 6.0a SR-1
6.0.1.1317

This still works on 6.0a SR-1 on Windows 8.1

Interestingly, if I click once (the reference is selected) and click again (the reference is deselected) - then clicking again no longer selects the reference until I click somewhere outside of the box.

This is working for me on Logos 6.0a SR-1, Yosemite 10.10.1

Not seeing this phenomenon. It stays selected until I type in the new reference.
Puzzling. Maybe you could try opening a blank layout, open a Bible, and see if it happens there.

Do you mean you can't even double-click to select the reference, or just that the single click won't select the whole reference? I can still double-click to get the whole reference, but the single-click feature won't work.

Yes - the double-click seems to select the last portion of the reference (before punctuation) as opposed to the entire reference

I'm counting clicks now! I get the same as you. It's a triple-click that selects the whole reference.

Thank you for reporting this. I apologize for the inconvenience. This appears to be a bug in our current release for Mac. We're filing a report with the development team and they will look into it as soon as possible. It should hopefully be resolved soon, in an update.

You are correct; that was the behavior in L5.
I have restored the original functionality; clicking in the field now selects it again on Logos 6 on OS X 10.9 and 10.10. It will be available in a future release.

This should be fixed in 6.0b SR-1.
