Disappointed with maps in Logos

My biggest disappointment with Logos 6 is that the maps still don't work at the most basic level.

Today's example:

  1. Open the ESV to Nehemiah 1:1.
  2. Right-click, on Susa, and choose "Susa: Place".
  3. Click Atlas.

Logos 6 opens a map labelled "Jacob Returns to Canaan"--the wrong end of OT history. This map shows Carchemish and Haran (in Turkey) -- not even close to Shūsh (in Iran).

Yes, I can choose FactBook instead, and then wait for a bunch more maps to load from afar, and then fool around them them until I finally find Susa on the *sixth* map offered! But seriously?

Truly woeful, through version after version of Logos. Forget Atlas. Forget Factbook. Forget Biblical Places. Forget automated tagging. Start again. Tag the text of Scripture with a right-click option that instantly gives us a useful map. It can't be that hard.

Your example nearly works properly in 6.0b beta 1

In the screenshot below I followed your steps above

As you can see it has a reasonable map, but not showing the right place

However if I pan right the correct place is highlighted (here I have my cursor over the orange dot)

I'll make a link to this thread in the beta forum
