Hi!  I purchased a Lenovo Yoga 2 10" tablet last week to consolidate all my "books," including my Logos library.  I've installed Logos on a SanDisk 64GB Ultra micro sdxc card.  I've tried 7 or 8 times so far to get my Logos books to index but without success.  Sometimes, I get a message that Logos has stopped working, and sometimes the indexing freezes.  The furthest I got was 67% (and that was after around 34 hours of indexing), and then the system froze.  After that, it got up to 11% in less than an hour (relatively quite speedy, compared to 34 hours for 67 percent), but then Logos stopped working.

All my books downloaded to the tablet just fine, only indexing is a problem.

Is it possible to download and index my library on my desktop system and then copy the books and indices to my sd card?  If so, is there any I need to do besides copying the books/indices folder?

Thanks!

Don

Use Method 2 at https://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers (read "Before you start" carefully)

Thanks for the info!  I tried this twice, and it worked the second time.  For some reason, when I tried the fist time and got to the step of starting Logos on my tablet after copying the three folders to my SD card, I kept getting a message that the application couldn't run on, or wasn't compatible with, the system (something to that effect).  I uninstalled everything from my tablet, deleted all remnants of my Logos folders on my SD card, uninstalled Logos 6 from my desktop system and cleaned out remnants of it from the hard disk and from the registry.  I then reinstalled Logos 6 on my desktop system, downloaded and indexed all my resources, and followed the steps for Method 2.  This time, Logos 6 opened fine and is working fine on my tablet.

And I prayed...  Smile

Thanks, again!

Don

Well done with the second attempt!

Is the microSD card formatted for NTFS or FAT32 (right click the drive in File Explorer, click Properties and check the File system:). It should be NTFS. On my wife's Win 8 tablet the microSD drive sometimes goes missing and I have to re-seat the card!
