For some reason, I have lost all information except the title in the display mode of my library panel -- no ratings, tags, type -- nothing, Help will be appreciated.

I assume you are in detail view of the library, if not choose detail from the menu as in the following screen shot.
Once in details view if you right click on the column heading you can choose which columns to display. As in the following..

If it is a loss of information that had previously been visible, close and re-open the Library panel/window. This is a known bug.
