I was wondering if anyone else had this experience and, whether Faithlife is working on new versions. It does not work on my tablet (crashes right away). I have had many installs, uninstalls, reinstalls, clearings of cache, reboots, so and so forth. Same result.

I had put it aside altogether for many months. Just recently I thought I would try it again, redownloaded, reinstalled, retried, recrashed :(

Hi Francis

I didn't have this installed on my Android phone but just installed it to check - and it all works fine.

What tablet do you have - what version of Android software?

It is a Dell Venue 8, running Android 4.4. In the beta phase, it was considered problematic that it ran an Intel processor but this was addressed later on. It worked for a while but I did not need to use it then. Later on, when I returned to it, the crashes series had resumed and I have never been able to use it again since.

The only element of change I could see is software updates to Android. It might have been 4.2 or 4.3 when I got my tablet originally. Unless of course, other apps can cause conflicts?

I think you should crosspost in the Android subforum - from what I can see (mainly skimming, not much participating) those are well-served by Faithlife. There's a way to submit logs on Android, too, which I'm not familiar with.

I'm running 4.4.4

And NB.Mick's suggestion of cross-posting into the Android forum is a good oneSmile

Francis, I am experiencing the same thing with a Nexus 5 on 5.0.1. But it has never worked for me (meaning it's never actually started up fully without crashing).
