It would be nice to have an online forum or blog to interact with some of the articles from the magazine. Somewhere to agree, disagree, add to, or just comment. I have wanted to express all of these on occasion. I know that not all articles can be posted for discussion, but perhaps a select few? I would even suggest that the "Post threads" be limited to the article titles, in order to keep things organized.

I understand that Logos might be hesitant to open up a forum with various denominations etc, discussing opposing interpretations. But I believe that the blessings would out weigh the disagreements.

It would be fun to show each other how we used the software to help us as we come to our understanding of the bible.

Recently, there was a discussion regarding what people thought of the Magazine, http://community.logos.com/forums/t/8717.aspx?PageIndex=1. I thought to respond here instead of there.

Personally, I have enjoyed the magazine. I have wished for more focus on "methods" and even of ways to use the Logos program with these methods. Perhaps that will start to develope.

I really enjoyed the article "Acts top 40" by John D. Barry in the current edition. It gave me some ideas.

May the Lord bless you and keep you.

Daniel,

Thanks for the idea.

We would love to get a discussion going about Bible Study Magazine articles on our Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/BibleStudyMagazine

Right now, we're even asking people to submit Bible study tips on Genesis on our Facebook wall: http://blog.logos.com/archives/2010/06/get_your_bible_study_tips_published.html We may publish some reader submitted tips in our next issue.

Likewise, you can also submit letters to the editor on our Facebook wall. We may include excerpts from a few letters in our next issue.

Thanks John for the information. I didn't know  Bible Study magazine had a facebook page. I love my subscription, my wife liked it so much she wanted her own copy - I kind of hogged my copy to savor it Smile - and bought subsciptiosn for my daughter/son-in-law, and an associate pastor friend of mine. It is really a very nicely published magazine.

It has been helpful in showing me valuable resources that I want in my library as well. One nice thing would be to expand the subscription to allow it to be a journal entry in one's library. Just in case you lose a hardcopy you can always go back on an article.

Thanks for a great magazine.

In Christ,

Ken
