[resolved]Bug? Logos 6 Macbook Pro - Distorted Book Icons
Hi Folks,
I just got my first Macbook Pro today, and after installing Logos and indexing, the book icons are showing some very strange behavior? Many of the icons are elongated and skinny. Does anyone know what might be causing this or how to correct it? Scaling has no effect on this. Thanks in advance for the help!

I am running a re-index to see if that helps. It didn't help the first time. The book covers look totally different than they do under Windows. Many are appearing very tall, skinny, and distorted, and in the tile view in the library they don't even 'fit' in the column vertically. They are cutting off from being out of proportion as in this screen shot:
Thank you.

Same thing's happening on my brand new church MBPr. Finished indexing earlier this week. Something's definitely gone awry. Used Logos since 2001 and haven't seen this. Dropbox finished indexing today. Could that have something to do with it? Wondering as Book Anitqua (my usual default font) finally showed up as an option but it looks a bit different than on my previous MBPr (2012).
Work your magic Bama!

Not a Retina issue. I have the same problem on my MB Air, 13 inch with 1440 x 900 resolution. I was going to report this two days ago but never got around to it. This disotortion of the icons happens in certain views, such as Parallel Resources and Add New Resource to a pane.

Icons still distorted on new Macbook, but not an issue with older model.
Will Logos address via an update?

Just for completeness, I'm not getting the problem in a Library listing on my late 2013 13" MBP running Yosemite, but have noticed it on a couple of occasions lately in other views (an Everything search - see below). I am also having issues in Collection listings with scaling that I have reported several times previously but I'm not getting the behaviour you are in the Library listing.

Thanks for pointing this out. I am now able to see this as you are, but not in the library view. Since I am running beta, I will create a new post there... hopefully someone will respond.
EDIT: Here is a link to that thread: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/99891/690487.aspx#690487

What you are seeing is people with the new Mac Pro's have had their libraries upgrading to the deluxe paprus edition of the books which tend to be longer than the regular books.

I have created a case for this issue and will reply back to the thread once the issue is fixed. Thanks! [:)]

This should be fixed in 6.0b SR-2.

In order to fix this, you will need to rebuild your Library Catalog.
Here are the instructions on how to do that:
- Quit Logos
- Open Finder
- Press "Command+Shift+G" to "Go to folder".
- Enter: ~/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data
- Open the "random" named folder that appears.
- Delete the "LibraryCatalog" folder.
- Open Logos and wait for "Preparing your Library" to finish.
This should fix the cover images. Please let me know if it doesn't.
