• SUGGESTION: various projects that should be in Logos

The Consultation on Common Texts recently released a 20th anniversary edition of the Revised Common Lectionary (Fortress, 2012), which includes annotations, historical materials and indexes. A separate daily lectionary, Revised Common Lectionary Daily Readings , was published by Fortress in 2006. The RCL is also available at the CCT’s website...

  • Suggestion for next Logos 5 release

The last releases have had major feature updates. I would appreciate it very much if the next release concentrated on bug fixes and small improvements e.g. General: highlighting in sentence diagrams scripture passages in prayer lists option to turn off all filters in a resource more clarity in word list interface on the language of text and gloss improved...

Suggested Logos 4 Commentary Collections and Parallel Resources Sets Below are four categories of commentaries: · Language focuses on the word meanings, grammar, syntax, etc. of the biblical text. · Scholar or Critical also emphasizes original languages as well as academic insights into the text. · Pastoral...

  • Re: Questions on the Anglican package
I couldn't find New Testament Apocrypha - on the website or in my collections
That problem exists on numerous package lists (unless they've fixed the others recently). It's one of these: I'm sure you've had them both for ages. They come with a number of Logos and Verbum packages.
I couldn't identify...

  • Questions on the Anglican package

I've gone through the Silver in detail and found the following problems: I couldn't identify a resource that corresponded to Logos Bible Software Maps (I did find the deluxe version) nor to the Faithlife Study Bible Maps. I suspect I have them but ... On the Christian Origins and the Question of God series was the 3 or 4 volume set intended. I didn...

  • Re: Impressions on the Tyndale Commentary Series?
I had considered the Expositor's Bible Commentary as well. It is the same kind of commentary that I've had in mind, affordable and not overly technical.
It is very similar. Here are the same samples passages from it: Psalm 30: Praise for God’s Faithfulness in a Time of Need Praise constitutes the key motif....

  • Re: Big Read 14 - Barefoot Prayers
Thanks. I just received this too, but I'd forgotten that it was for Lent. I'm surprised it starts at the first Sunday in Lent instead of Ash Wednesday, but I suppose that's OK. Don't most Lenten devotionals start with Ash Wednesday?
In his preamble to the first section 'Gatherings' Stephen Cherry writes... This collection...

  • Re: bug
open in a "hyperlink window"
Where are you seeing "open in a hyperlink window"? I'm able to click links under Parallel passages and navigate back to the hovered "Sermon Starter Guide" just fine. Perhaps I'm missing something?

  • Feedback: New Sermons Section in the SSG

In beta 4, a very useful new section was added to the sermon starter guide. It's in the release notes, but I think many of us missed it. It looks like this: It also works in topic-based Sermon-Starter Guides where it's even more useful. This is on righteousness: . This is a much needed feature, and I'm delighted it's included. Users like me shouldn...

  • Re: How do you add more books into Pasage Guide (Topic & Illustration) ?
I try to do a custom Passage Guide, but I didn't see the option to prioritize any books.
Some sections will allow you to specify a collection of your books (e.g. Collections, Commentaries) and you may prioritize the books to affect the order in which they are listed. Other sections will use pre-defined books e.g. Cross-References...
