• Re: Free Book with a Twist - (Chesterton's The Man Who Was Thursday)
every time I tried to sign up it times out for me.
I've been consistently getting errors from lyrismail and click.logosmail.com [same thing?] for months. It's certainly an inconvenience in pursuing marketing e-mail from Logos. I've found that, if I really care enough about a particular solicitation, I can connect...

  • Works Cited links pop up to the place in the article of the Book that is citing, not the book that is cited

Is this correct? I would expect that the pop up in this case would display page 181 in Best's commentary on Ephesians, instead it displays the place in the article that cites best. This seems inconsistent with information displayed in other places of the concordance tool. Is this an error?

I had a similar crash in another resource (Dictionary of Biblical Imagery). Maybe this screenshot will help pinpoint the error, as this was the point where it crashed.

  • 6.5 beta 1: Bug "Works Cited" sometimes gets confused with articles

In the screenshot below the concordance tool says there are three references to E. Ben Zvi's "The Chronicler as Historian". In fact, there is only one reference to that, the other two references listed are to other articles in the same book. You can see from the screenshot that this isn't a resource error, as when you hover over the other articles,...

Thanks, Peter. Please do check if this same error is present in the other passages as well. The subject-lemma has seemed quite unreliable and hopefully this explains why...

  • Re: Some apparently incorrect Clause Search results

In Judges 20:2, the subject (as analyzed by Andersen and Forbes, shown above) is discontiguous. The lemma אֱלֹהִים occurs in the gap, not being part of the subject, but it is inside the span covered by the subject. That probably explains the error. I'll see if I can get it fixed...

  • Re: Remote Control Not Working

Hi, sorry the remote was causing you problems. A slide change error generally occurs when the remote never receives confirmation from Proclaim that the slide changed was successful. This can be due to a bad internet connection at either Proclaim's end or the remote's. I would check to make sure that your computer running Proclaim and your iPad both...
  • Some apparently incorrect Clause Search results

I sent these corrections in by email on October 9th, 2014 to data@logos.com , but haven't received any response yet, so I thought I'd post them here in a new thread. If you run a Clause Search for subject-lemma: אֱלֹהִים verb-morph:V????P (i.e. a search for clauses where the subject of the clause is e/Elohim and the verb is in plural), there are a large...

The error for me did not occur after a Mac OS upgrade. For me it occurred on a new MacBook Pro that came with Yosemite. It worked with Logos 6.3 and Yosemte, but not with 6.4. It still works fine with my HP laptop running Windows 8.1 and Logos 6.4.

  • Remote Control Not Working

I am using an iPad to control some presentations at church and they have been freezing up. I keep getting a slide change error. I though it might be my iPad and I installed the remote on my wife's iPad which is newer and I still get the same error. Any suggestions?

  • Re: Visual Copy Will Not Send to PPT after Yosemite update

Given that this error is occurring immediately after the upgrade to Yosemite, it's possible it's on Mac's end. For some reason, ppt is no longer accepting the copy directly from Logos, but one is able to Paste Special inside ppt, and the copy will appear.

  • BUG in Verbum 6.4 SR-2: # of Resources downloaded in error

I received the update for the Sermon Outline Series by Baker today, and 50 resources were downloaded. My library increased by 50, I know because the count increased by 50 in my library, and I have a rating on every resource, so I can just search myrating:=0 and see what is new. BUT - the notification on the Home Page said 49 resources downloaded, and...

Just an update: There was a publishing error with the resource that prevented it from being updated. This has been resolved and you should be receiving the new version the next time updates are checked.
