  • Inconsistency bug? Morris/system/documentation

In looking at the tab menu, I noticed that Proctor, Morris. Logos 6: Training Manual. Vol. 1 . Murfreesboro, TN: MP Seminars, 2015. has the following shortcuts: which does not correspond to the menu itself: Notice the menu doesn't even show a shortcut for the close all tabs options. • SUGGESTION: 3 Passage Guide Outline enhancements

    1. A request that applies to a number of Guide sections. It would be very helpful to have a simple Find function so it would be easier to see if a particular resource is in the list. An alternative would be to always have the option to sort the contents into resource alphabetical sequence. An example: I wanted to see if the Concordia Self-Study Bible...

  • Re: Where to properly report a Logos error?

I think LHB will work great for regular study / sermon prep. There will be differences in the tagging between the two analyses. LHB, for example, has root tagging while BHW does not. BHW may also have some additional morphological features tagged that are not available in LHB. There can even be differences in the tagging of features that are common...

Thanks very much Andrew. I'm looking at getting the BHW. I already have the LHB. I did a search using the LHB and am not getting the false positives. For regular bible study / sermon prep stuff would you say that the LHB is a sufficient alternative to the BHW?

  • Re: Bug, hanging and sometime crashing

There is one crash on the 26th (LogosCrash.txt) but the detailed Logos.log for 27th doesn't report a crash. The errors reported include an SQlite error & panel errors that I also see in my Logos on Windows. I'm unable to suggest a fix so would recommend you contact Tech Support.

Doesn't look fixed. Signed in, have no option to change groups, the site is empty, and clicking links in this thread all give 404 " This page is extinct." errors. :(

  • Typos in Loader, W. (2010). Sexuality in the New Testament: Understanding the Key Texts.

I have been reading the above book/resource and noticed multiple typos/errors, the most frequent being the printing of "and' when "find" is what was meant. E.g., it will say, "We and in Paul's writings...." I copied a section of the book in MS Word and noted the errors and sent it to tech support at Logos and Faithlife. It's possible these errors are...

  • Mac users, can you try to reproduce this bug???

There seems to be a bug in Visual Copy for Mac users ONLY . However, many of you may not be aware that it's there unless you accidentally stumbled across it attempting to edit text on a slide . I'm just curious how Visual Copy performs for other Mac users. Wondering if you would attempt to reproduce this error, in order to see what happens in your environment...

  • Re: Where to properly report a Logos error?

The WIVU morphology is quite old and does not include homograph distinctions. You might be interested in a BHS with a more modern morphology such as BHS Westminster 4.18 , which should function a lot better for you. Some older posts about this issue may provide some additional information for you: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/28059/207841.aspx#207841...

  • Where to properly report a Logos error?

While studying the genealogy of Gen 10, I did a search on the Hebrew word for "coast lands" in 10:5. Unfortunately, I get the following of false positives. Isa 13:22, 34:14 Jer 50:39 Job 22:30 Ecc 4:10, 10:16 In these passages the word for coast lands is mistaken for the word for "jackal" or "woe" - both of which are either similar or identical, but...
