I took a quick look, but your logos.log file doesn't indicate a crash.
But the logosCrash.txt does - and it looks like the same crash (4031, IndexOutOfRange) oithers experienced with Beta 5. • Re: Baker Encyclopedia of the Bible - valuable for non-Evangelicals?
Considering the Baker Encyclopedia of the Bible is going to approach the various topics from a Protestant prospective, rather than a Catholic, I would still consider that the price is well worth it for comparison purposes if you were interested in such.
My difficulty with justifying purchasing this encyclopedia is not...
If you want to get your finger on the theological pulse of the evangelical world on a certain topic, it will be useful.
This is the impression that I have from the product page as well as both excerpts posted above (justification and Mary). The theological pulse of the evangelical world isn't that hard to take for...
Personally I prefer two 21" monitors to one 27" or 29". Y
I have two 27" monitors, and I really like this approach. Most of my layouts are "single main Logos window on 1 screen". But the ones I use for more intensive study, including sermon preparation, have the main window on 1 screen and 1 or 2 floating windows on...

  • Sample Screen shots

Sample screenshots are not vertically scrollable when using the zoom feature. Tried this on various browsers (FireFox 38, IE11, & Chrome 44). Running on a WIn8.1 Dell. Also tried going to other Logos product pages and it works (of fails to work) in the same way. This has been this way for a long time. I was just frustrated enough to post this so...

I don't know about Windows, but on Mac the simplest is to right-click on the link, copy, and paste: TIP of the Day: Forums - How to copy a link to a thread or to an individual post . Saves me from reloading the page, looks much nicer, and helps others know what thread I'm talking about without having to actually go there. An individual post will look...

Not to mention, it has a'reader' mode that strips away blue light (light that typically causes eye strain). This is especially helpful for long periods of study or low light work situations.

Hey Roger, Good to hear, as I have a Surface 2 pro, too. How do you like it? What does the Windows button on the bottom of the screen do w/W10? Would you recommend it? I think I got use to the start/tiles start screen (esp. w/all the shortcuts) and am dragging my feet to take the plunge. rs
If you re-read my concern it is not with what I own but with what is used to read what I own. I foresee a day when the only way to access the cloud is to pay for a subscription. Having said, Phil has graciously emailed me and assured me that such a day will never come. i assume he means that even if the engine as we know it...

I do have it in my Library and did at one time own a hard copy... I found it a work i never used, if you own ISBE 1988 you have basically a better evangelical set. That said it;s not bad just not outstanding. It came to me in Logos in a set with other books. I do not see it as overly dogmatic in it's approach to things. One example or partial one is...

One down (Clarke's Commentary), but we desperately need the Full Life Study Bible (aka Fire Bible) notes and articles. It's really indispensable for Pentecostal research, imho. Please release this resource asap, Logos. :)
Two things I'll point out: 1) There's no doubt in my mind that Logos suffers from a lack of standard...

  • Re: Valuation of Logos 6 package and library

Interesting, mine goes back to 2001, but had it from when they first released the software... got mine at Egghead Software (went out of business long time ago :) ) I am amazed that all of the books from 3rd party software are alive and working well! That alone speaks volumes about Logos, now FaithLife!
