I cannot understand why Christians keep on and on and on, as if they must have the last word. What happened to "love one another"? Just please stop these disputes which should not be aired publicly.

MJ do you know the book or the author - Opening to God: Lectio Divina as Life and Prayer by David G. Benner? It's on special at Faithlife, a bargain but I don't want to add to my collection unless it might add something to my prayer life. https://ebooks.faithlife.com/product/221335/opening-to-god-lectio-divina-and-life-as-prayer

I did what Graham said (heading text) and in <encyclopedia> I get 82 results and in my Bible Dictionaries collection I got 66 results). So it does work!

This has still not been fixed. In addition, there are many place names which show up in the Holman index, but not in the Logos search tab. For example Acmonia, Acquarossa. But it's not only Holman. The Crossway Bible Atlas has many map items in its own index which don't show up on a search, such as Achelous River, Acruvium and Adab, all of which are

Or, for a different type of approach (summaries as opposed to outlines), what about https://www.logos.com/product/7580/the-bible-panorama The same 2 chapters of Colossians: CHAPTER THREE V 1–4: PRINCIPLE OCCUPATION In contrast to earthbound legalistic observance of man-made rules and procedures, the principle occupation of the Colossian Christians must

Hi Doug I note that some OT books seem to be complete in detail, such as Ruth and Ecclesiastes. I think most of us would be happy with more frequent updates as some books get completed rather than waiting for a bunch of books before an update. Not sure if this causes more work, but thought I'd put in my 2 cents worth!

An extract from The Outline Bible: SECTION OUTLINE THREE (COLOSSIANS 3–4:1) Paul writes about the principles of holy living and addresses six types of individuals in regard to this matter. I. HOLY LIVING: THE PRINCIPLES (3:1–17) A. In regard to the believer’s affection (3:1–4) 1. The place of our affection (3:1–3): We must transfer our affection from

Here is a transcript of segment 30, Predicting the Passion, in John's Gospel: Passover in Jerusalem There are several unique elements to the telling of the triumphal entry in the Johannine account. One is the proclamation of the Pharisees, who stand by the side of the road and say, “See, this is getting us nowhere—look how the whole world is going after

Thanks Ted. Tip number 3 about the pdf is great and I will use it in future. Now why didn't you tell us about it years ago

I'm half way through and taking it slowly. It's the best course I've done - Ben Witherington is a great Teacher!

Thanks Paul - reading carefully again, I think you're right, so now I can plan!

12 Days sounds like there will be new deals every day, not "nothing added" otherwise surely it would be no different from the Christmas Sale. So if there are new ones added each day, will the old ones fall away is really what we need to know.
-
Can anyone tell me if each day's resources will remain on special until the end or are they one-day only? On a limited budget it would be great to see what's still coming before committing to one now!
-
Here in South Africa I stayed up until 11.01 p.m. to see as many deals as possible, but when I awoke this morning I found I had missed the last few, so please Logos, consider us "foreigners" when deciding on how long to keep hourly deals. Having said that, I am very thankful for the bargains I still was able to pick up - thanks Logos and Faithlife!

Several Zondervan videos are on sale this week at Logos for $35.99. The same ones are also on sale at Zondervan for $25. Since they are only videos, there would seem to be no advantage in buying the Logos version as there would not be any linking to other resources - or am I missing something? Thanks

I have found the Holman NT Commentary sets very useful for application. https://www.logos.com/product/3409/holman-new-testament-commentary-hntc

It's gone back to $45.99 already! Sadly I missed it.
